WHAT IS PNGTIA?

The PNGTIA is
a non-profit organization incorporated on the 24 January 2001 with the
primary objective to develop, promote, encourage and stimulate the tourism
industry in Papua New Guinea and its associated services in partnership
with the industry stakeholders including association members, government
agencies, private sector, NGOs, communities both internationally and
within PNG.
The PNGTIA is administered by committee members
elected by its industry members.
Why should I join?
Being made up of Travel, Tourism and Transport Professionals there is a tremendous business advantage in joining the PNGTIA. We offer members opportunities to develop professional relationships with industry colleagues through participation in industry discussion groups, and networking events. Our members come together to discuss issues and themes with legislative representatives, in order to improve our industry as a whole. This association will be able to achieve major legislative objectives with your support. Members take an active role in guiding the association's policies and programs, and our organization relies on your industry experience and expertise.
