KOIARI TREKS & TOURS is located at Sogeri plateau about 40 km from Port Moresby City. Access to Sogeri plateau is by road to the township. Relax at 500m above sea level in peace in the cool, tranquil mountain setting at the start of the world famous Kokoda Trail. The township is on the plateau of Sogeri, which is an ancient volcanic crater. We have beautiful river rapids, waterfalls, unspoiled natural environment plus Varirata National Park. History can be seen around this part of the Central Province. Kokoda Trail is about 96 km from the south to north, Owers’Corner to Kokoda. Kokoda Trail World War 2 history occurred in the land of the Koiari people. |
