The Tour Operators Association of Papua New Guinea (TOAPNG) is a non-profit organisation representing the interests of all local in-bound tour operators in Papua New Guinea. It plays a vital role to bring tour operations in PNG to a marketable standard at an international level.  Since been established in April 2005 the membership has grown to 28 small to medium sized tour operators from all over Papua New Guinea.The Tour Operators Association of Papua New Guinea (TOAPNG) is a non-profit organisation representing the interests of all local in-bound tour operators in Papua New Guinea. TOA Objectives;

Foster the development of Tour Industry in Papua New Guinea Establish, implement and maintain a reputable standard in the tour industry in PNG Provide training and development opportunities for members and their employees. Develop and encourage networking/interaction for members and stakeholders using local and distribution network that will help provide work opportunities to improve the livelihood of a community. Encourage and assist in marketing and promotion opportunities for members in local, district, regional and national level throughout PNG Co-operate with and initiate actions to ensure the conservation of the environment, culture and social integrity of communities are respected by all parties Co-operate, affiliate or act in consent with any association, company or body to assist in or facilitate the fulfilment of the bojectives of the Association Provide a representative body at TPA and PNGTIA Do all such things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objectives where such action do not contravene legislation whether local or national.

The Association has a full time secretariat wit a functioning Executive Committee and an active President, who is the Chairman of the PNG Tourism Industry Association.
